This guide contains the current NYSC allowance for all States in Nigeria.

After knowing their state of deployment, the next thing on every corps member’s mind is to know if the State Government pays allowance to corps members apart from the monthly allowance paid by the Federal Government.

And if yes, how much do they pay?

Not every State in Nigeria pays NYSC allowance. The States that pay Corpers, have different amounts they pay, and this amount increases or decreases over time.

It is generally believed that the NYSC highest paying state is the best state for NYSC. This is because almost every corps member is attracted to the pay and always want to serve there.

It is important to note that before any corps member can be paid by the State government, they must be serving in the public sector.
