Current NYSC Allowance For All States In Nigeria 2023

This guide contains the current NYSC allowance for all States in Nigeria.

After knowing their state of deployment, the next thing on every corps member’s mind is to know if the State Government pays an allowance to corps members apart from the monthly allowance paid by the Federal Government.

And if yes, how much do they pay?

Not every State in Nigeria pays NYSC allowance. The States that pay NYSC allowance, have different amounts they pay, and this amount increases or decreases over time.

It is generally believed that the NYSC’s highest-paying state is the best state for NYSC. This is because almost every corps member is attracted to the pay and always wants to serve there.

It is important to note that before any corps member can be paid by the State government, they must be serving in the public sector.

Corps members serving in a private organization may also be paid by their employers, only if there is a payment agreement.
